Antique Lace & Textiles
Lace and cloth made by hand, long before anything was made quickly. A white cotton capelet edged in bobbin lace, a black jet-beaded mourning cape that catches the light as it moves.
These are pieces to wear, to frame or simply to keep. We find them in the Ardèche and across the South of France, and describe their condition honestly, small repairs included.
Each piece is one of a kind, chosen by hand in Alba-la-Romaine and shipped worldwide.
Caring for antique textiles: store flat or loosely folded in tissue, away from sunlight. Hand wash only, and gently, if at all.
