Features a delicate choker of individually handcarved natural mother of pearl leaves, each piece displaying an iridescent pearlescent luminosity. The carved leaves are arranged in a graduating fan formation, with a fine thread construction throughout.

Collector's note: Handcarved mother of pearl jewellery of this quality and delicacy is consistent with 40s European and Asian export production. The carved leaf motif is a signature of the Art Deco to early mid-century period. An exceptionally fragile and rare survival in complete condition.
