A sweet hinged pill box cast in the form of a scallop shell, executed in silver plate with finely rendered ribbing across both upper and lower halves. Opens on a neat hinge to reveal a small interior tray, practical for pills, rings, or small keepsakes. The silver plate carries a gentle patina with age. A charming and giftable dressing table object or a bridal object for wedding rings. Approximate decade: 1960s–1970s
